I’m not an expert on Thai food but I really liked this Beef Pad Thai! The flavor was amazing and it was a nice light pasta dish.
My kids all inhaled this dish as well. It wasn’t a dish that they reached for when they had their choice of leftovers but they had no complaints eating it the night I made it. I was ok with that since the leftovers all came my way!
Substitutions/Additions made by Cooking After Class for Beef Pad Thai:
- eliminated oil
- substituted venison for ground beef…used 1 pound instead of 3/4 pound
- used an entire bag of steam-in-the-bag sugar snap peas
- used an entire package of matchstick carrots
- added 8 oz of sliced white mushrooms
- added about 3/4 cup pad thai sauce instead of 1/2 cup because of all of the extra veggies
Tips from Cooking After Class for making Beef Pad Thai:
- serve with chopped peanuts of top…so yummy with the added crunch
